Well it has been a very busy couple of weeks catching up but I have finally completed all my coaching qualification stuff and got it in the post to The Academy and finished my business plan. Launa Walker businesswomen here I come.
On Friday we had the first meeting of the group interested in putting our own inspiring women conference together for 2012. Over a bottle of wine or two we debated a number of relevant topics such as what is success? Who is inspirational? Are you inspirational just because you are famous? We decided that we need a main guest speaker to hook in our women and I mention this now because I am looking for inspiration. If anyone out there knows someone who knows someone who is bestest mates with Gok Wan then give him a shout for me cause I think the women of Worcestershire need him (usual contact details). He was definately a popular choice around the table and I am not settling for 2nd best!

3 weeks!
So how on earth did three weeks go by without me writing something here!
I know exactly how...it has been manic. I only have 3 jobs now as I gave up the Zumba having overloaded over the summer, but even so it is as hot in the office as it is out there...with steam coming out my ears that is.
3 weeks ago I went on part 1 of my NLP Practitioners course which was fab. I managed to buy the new car the day before my 104 mile journey down south and felt like I was driving a hire car all morning. She goes and is shiney red but she is not my old love.
Since then I have been on a whirlwind tour of networking and events to get the business started (coaching that is!!!). I spent all day last Saturday at a convention in Birmingham where there were some great people but I felt that it was mis-titled saying it was about personal development...it really was 'show me the money' and I can't relate to that. OK, I am not denying that I buy lottery tickets now and then and look out for people I know on Heirhunters but it will always be about people for me. Sometimes too much, but I am learning.
I won't leave it so long next time, I promise.
