So, step two on my new route started this week with my membership of BNI being accepted. Fot those of you who have not come across this before it is a way of intense networking with the same group of people every week who then know loads about your work and can sell your business for you, and of course, you do the same for them.
I acknowledge that it is a huge commitment for me, both financially and time wise but I am going to make WW (or whatever I call it long term) work. I have some thinking and planning to do and loads to learn about how business works and these guys can help me. In return, I have moved in a great number of circles over the years and hope that I can pass on a few ideas of my own.
So, this is the start of great things and I must admit that I am more positive, more energised and commited than I ever have been. Speak to you soon...
Welcome to the blogger of an absolute beginner...
Well, as a woman of a certain age setting up a business I have heard so much about the power of Social Marketing. I have even been to a seminar this week which made sense, well all except the acronyms. So I am going to give it a go.
I am a great people person and a great coach and if this is the way to tell you all about that...then I am up for moving out of my comfort zone just like a good coach should be. (The words great and technology will never appear in the same sentence for me though.)
We are of course assuming that I ever find this blog again.

The big plan develops....
So, the first step of my rebrand has started with some fab photos taken by Nicole from Endeavour Images. Updated the photo on Linked in and Twitter tonight as the first step in looking at where we take this project of mine.
Though I felt like I had let myself down a bit by going back into corporate, I now realise that it was the best thing I could have done. Only by plunging myself back into the abyss that is a badly managed team could I have appreciated what a good manager can do...even if I say so myself.
So, the big plan is stay with BRC, develop the team and the reputation as a great coach and mentor and launch all these skills onto the corporate world. So many talk the talk, but I know that I walk the walk too (with maybe do a bit of a jog going on sometimes) so, it is exciting to have a plan!
