I can't believe the past 2 weeks. I might as well have been wearing roller skates as I run from one meeting to another, one event and client to another. Just shows you the power of BNI as you start getting to know the guys in the Chapter and visit some of the other Chapters saying hi.
OK, so I have heard a lot of negative stuff about the whole process and I am not blind enough to get that too, but you get what you pay for in any walk of this life so give and you will gain...
This week saw the opening of the new venture 'Wellbeing at the Wishing Well'. Two very lovely and ambitious young women have converted an old pub into a beautiful holistic centre. You walk into a comfy cafe with organic cake and the most scrumptious coffee I have tasted in a long while. Then there are clean and spacious therapy rooms, a workshop and a yoga/pilates studio with a high beamed ceiling, that I did not know existed whenever I shared a pint in the old hostelry.
So, at last I have a home to coach from. My own goal is to get my head round the fact that I now no longer have to run from clients house to house to coach, they can come to me! I also have plans for a group coaching workshop in the New Year based on 'women and change'. Better get my room booked quickly a I can see it being very attractive to professionals like me who need a hub, a home. Take a look and sign up for the newsletter to keep in touch!

Welcome to the blogger of an absolute beginner...
Well, as a woman of a certain age setting up a business I have heard so much about the power of Social Marketing. I have even been to a seminar this week which made sense, well all except the acronyms. So I am going to give it a go.
I am a great people person and a great coach and if this is the way to tell you all about that...then I am up for moving out of my comfort zone just like a good coach should be. (The words great and technology will never appear in the same sentence for me though.)
We are of course assuming that I ever find this blog again.
