Just a quick one tonight
Christmas is like Marmite...what an advertising tool...we all now know that I mean... that you absolutely love or you absolutely hate Christmas.
Christmas is packed with emotions, many lodged in childhood and we re-live them every year.
So, I am NOT a councillor but I help clients MOVE ON. Move on from the negatives that we carry like a weight around our shoulders.
2014 could bring you the best Xmas you have ever had BUT you will have to work at it and you will have to believe.
January is the best time to start. That gives you 12 months to work on you. Can you imagine that you actually achieve your New Year's resolution in 2014.
That is what I do....

Developing the management coaching
I can only confess that I was a little bit slow in not noticing the potential in combining my extensive management experience with my coaching qualifications. Over the years I have managed a large number of people, developing their potential personally and professionally cause they were always so important to the business; to the targets I had and the performance that was expected of the team.
So here I am doing my Corp and Exec Coaching Diploma with the support of a terrific charity in Brum who is working with me as I coach their management team to greater success.
I am learning so much about the real need for confidentiality, about treating each session as an entity in its own right, even though I know what the rest of the team feels about a situation. I can share what I have learnt in the business world to reassure those managers newly introduced to business... when charity used to be all about helping people not justifying the expenditure and the bottom line.
As someone who needs to pay the bills but has always thought more of developing people than enlarging my purse strings, the belief in using my coaching skills in the charity sector is really gaining focus at the moment. It is exciting to watch the niche grow and develop knowing that it was worth that wait.
24 days to go, how exciting...but I have not heard Noddy Holder shout those immortal words yet, hope I will soon.
